Sharon was born and raised in New Hartford, N.Y as an identical twin and one of five children. She was educated in the New York public school system, and earned her Bachelor's and law degrees from the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo. She met her husband, Michael Graff, on the first day of class.
While attending law school, Sharon volunteered for the Migrant Farm Workers Project and clerked for the ACLU Women’s Rights Project and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of New York. Since 2018, Sharon has been the Principal Court Attorney working in the third district with the Honorable Julian D. Schreibman, J.S.C.
Sharon believes equality, impartiality, access to justice, and equal treatment before the courts are indispensable and essential to the rule of law. Maintaining and improving our Democracy requires nothing less.
